FRIDAY FEELS!

Since we finished the Coast to Coast Ride for 100 in May of this year, Roads to Giving has been hard at work to place bikes that can be purchased from everyone’s generous donations. We are SUPER excited to announce our first kids have received their bikes!!

In his Hands Orphan Outreach connected Roads to Giving with two orphanages in need in Myanmar. The bikes will help orphaned children get to school and ride to the local market or simply experience joy outdoors in the area they live. One letter said, the children “would be thrilled to have just a few bicycles that can be shared by all the children. They are used to sharing everything and are thankful for anything.”

Thanks to your generous donations during our Cost to Coast Ride for 100 campaign, Roads to Giving supplied many children with their first bikes! We were overjoyed to receive pictures, videos, and a postcard of just how much of an impact providing bikes can have on a child’s life. One In his Hands board member had this to say, “This is incredible. This will change their lives. This gift will provide transportation, independence, hope and a sense of pride.”

A big THANK YOU again to all who donated and followed along during the ride.

Roads to Giving is continuing to work toward placing more bikes with more kids, be it local, national, or worldwide. Our constant goal in giving bikes is to improve the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of kids through the power of cycling. We strive to foster a sense of community among kids and other riders to support each other to learn valuable life skills.

We are still looking to get more bikes to more kids. If you know of any groups or individuals in need, please drop us a note in our inbox at info@roadstogiving.org.

Although our Coast to Coast Ride for 100 campaign has ended, we continue to fundraise. If you are interested in donating, you can do so at https://givebutter.com/roadstogiving.
